Mina the Hollower’s main city, Ossex, keeps changing as you gain more power-ups and upgrades, allowing access to more buildings. Some buildings are tricky to enter, and the Music Hall is probably the hardest. Here’s how to get in, and remember, think like a mouse.
How to Enter Ossex’s Music Hall
The Music Hall is protected by a fierce lizard named Kommodore. He’s very serious about keeping outsiders out. He blocks the entrance and even tries to grab you if you attempt to burrow past. The background tube makes it look more complicated than it really is.
Fortunately, you can enter the Music Hall whenever you want. The key is to remember you’re a mouse. Like everything in Mina the Hollower, the trick is to burrow — but you can’t just do it openly.
Instead, watch which characters go in and out of the hall. When one of them is heading inside, burrow underneath them. Move slowly and stay hidden as they walk through. This way, Kommodore won’t catch you. After getting inside, you should open the nearby tube to make future entries easier, so you won’t have to avoid Kommodore again.
Once inside, you’ll see many characters who appear throughout the game, including a couple of bosses. There’s also a chest behind the counter with Bonestone, and if you help Willis fulfill his wish of hearing Bayou music, you’ll receive a neat Trinket. While the area isn’t the most exciting part of the game, it does have some good items for you.
