The long-awaited reboot of the acclaimed sci-fi game originally released on PSP and PS3, now for PS5 and PS4, has officially announced its release date. The rebooted version of Steins;Gate, which debuted in 2009, has been confirmed for launch.
The upcoming title, called Steins;Gate Re:Boot, is scheduled to arrive on Xbox Series X|S and PC on August 20, 2026. It will then be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe on October 29, 2026. According to Spike Chunsoft, both physical and digital editions will be available for PS5 and Switch.
While the game will initially launch fully in Japan this August, players in the West will have to wait until later in the year to experience it on certain platforms.
