On the multiplayer front, Infinity Ward is introducing new technology that emphasizes authentic gameplay, ensuring precise aiming, better weapon handling, realistic sound design, and clearer visibility.
At launch, players will have access to 12 brand-new core 6-vs-6 maps. The multiplayer will also include Gunfight maps, larger War maps for vehicle and infantry battles, and the Kill Block mode.
Modern Warfare 4 will feature two Prestige pathways: Classic and Regular, with the Classic offering a traditional reset experience.
Finally, DMZ mode returns in this installment. While more details are expected in June, players have been assured that it will be a revamped, large-scale sandbox that provides the “ultimate Call of Duty extraction experience.”
