Similar to the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring, Lies Of P: Overture offers a standalone campaign filled with its own distinct settings, bosses, and storyline. However, it also shares the requirement of needing players to meet certain prerequisites, including finishing a significant part of the main game.

How Do I Access The Lies Of P: Overture Content?
After completing the ninth chapter of Lies Of P and returning to Hotel Krat, you should find an item called the Star’s Chrysalis in your inventory under the Functional Items tab. With the chrysalis ready, interact with a Stargazer and teleport to the “Path of the Pilgrim” Stargazer, which is the first one listed in chapter five.
A brief cutscene will play upon arrival. Once you regain control of P, you’ll see a glowing path. Follow this trail to another Stargazer. This Stargazer serves as a portal to the Overture content. Once you activate it, you’ll be sent to the outskirts of the Krat Zoo. You can now officially start the Overture content.
Rest assured, you won’t be stuck in the new area. You can move back and forth between the Overture world and the base game from any Stargazer.
How Long Does It Take To Access Lies Of P: Overture Content From A New Save?
Because you need to complete the ninth chapter, you’ll have to tackle most of the base game first. You’ll face twelve bosses before you can dive into the Overture content, along with about six optional bosses to confront along the way. The base game can typically be finished in just under 30 hours, so you can expect to access the Overture content in roughly 20 hours.
If you’re eager to jump into the new storyline, you can speed things up. Lies of P has received updates that include new difficulty settings, allowing you to significantly lower the challenge. Additionally, summoning a specter during boss fights can help you get through encounters more swiftly. While this might not be the ideal way to experience Lies Of P, it’s definitely the most efficient.
