There are two new vehicles in Repo that are both rideable and sure to add some chaos to your run. While carts are still your main way to transport goods for extraction, these two semi-scooters — the Hauler and the Scouter — bring a new level of fun to the game.
During your next Repo run, try to grab either the Hauler or the Scouter and see how much fun your team can have racing around the map. Here’s what you need to know about these vehicles, how to get them, and how to use them.
How to Get Vehicles in Repo
The Hauler and the Scouter can both be bought in the shop. Their spawn rates are random, so you might need to check back to find them.
- Hauler (Cargo Scooter): costs between $38,000 and $48,000.
- Scouter (Scout Scooter): costs between $18,000 and $20,000.
The Hauler is a driving vehicle that can drift and boost to help you turn corners quickly and escape enemies. It features a cargo hold that can store small items worth up to $20,000. You can put items into the Hauler just like a cart, or remove them manually.
Note: Neither vehicle can cross pits; they are scooters, not hoverboards!
The smaller Scouter doesn’t have cargo space. It’s mainly designed for fast movement and causing playful chaos. You can bump into enemies with these scooters, but they don’t deal enough damage to serve as effective weapons.
Using the Vehicles
Both scooters have batteries that can be charged at a new and improved charging station located in the van, which still runs on crystals. Be cautious—bumping into walls or objects drains the battery faster.
The Hauler has a little more health, with about one-third more HP than the Scouter. If the health drops to zero, the vehicle will explode after a short delay, dealing 100 damage. Damage can occur from hitting walls, monsters, fire, lasers, or falling into pits. Any damage sustained can be repaired at the charging station in the truck.
Additional Notes
Both scooters feature health bars and can be damaged during gameplay. The Hauler’s health is higher than the Scouter’s, making it a bit more durable. Damage causes temporary destruction, and explosions happen if the health reaches zero. Repairs are easy if you visit the charging station in the truck.
New End-of-Run Feature
At the end of a run, instead of fighting to see who becomes the King of the Losers, there’s now a race to see who can finish on a semi-scooter. It adds a fun twist and a playful way to wrap up your session.
