Only a few days after releasing a significant software update for its latest flagship device, OnePlus has initiated the rollout of an additional incremental patch for the OnePlus 13. The OxygenOS 15.0.0.405 build is currently being distributed to users across all major markets and introduces a range of practical AI enhancements, along with other feature adjustments.
The AI enhancements prioritize improving the translation capabilities of the device. A notable feature allows users to view live translations of speech right on the screen. Additionally, in a move reminiscent of Samsung’s Galaxy AI functionalities, the new update introduces a “face-to-face translation feature.”
Similar to Samsung’s implementation, this mode features a split-screen interface that dedicates one side to text translations, facilitating conversations between two people. For those who prefer auditory feedback, plugging in headphones allows users to hear the translated speech.
However, when it comes to managing bilingual translations, users might find themselves overwhelmed while trying to distinguish between the translated text and the often inaccurate machine-generated output.

To alleviate this issue, OnePlus offers a one-tap function for specific headphones, enabling seamless initiation of conversations using the face-to-face translation feature.
“The translation of one language is delivered through the phone’s speaker, while the translation of the other language is conveyed through the headphones,” states OnePlus.
The latest OxygenOS update, being rolled out gradually to OnePlus 13 devices, also improves the stability and compatibility of various wireless network protocols.
In addition, the update brings several camera enhancements, including improved color accuracy for images taken in Master Mode. Personally, I’ve noticed a clear difference in color reproduction between photos captured in the default Photo mode and those taken in Master mode.
OnePlus claims to have fine-tuned the camera zoom functionality, while also enhancing overall camera stability. So far, I haven’t experienced any focus-hunting issues or lens-switching problems on my OnePlus 13, though there have been a few instances where the camera struggled with tracking moving subjects.
