When you converse with the residents and check out the Talking Stones scattered throughout Luma Island, you’ll uncover some fascinating tidbits about its past. This island was once home to ancient civilizations, frequently visited by pirates, and inhabited by magical beings known as Luma.
A good starting point to get hints about this history is the Ancient Farm Temple located near your home. However, that’s not the only intriguing place worth exploring. A significant temple stands at the entrance to the Forest, but its doors remain locked until you acquire the Forgotten Tablets.
How to Obtain Forgotten Tablet A
After you’ve repaired the town bridge and accessed the Forest, head north along the path. You’ll soon encounter a mountainous region filled with ruins and a temple against the rock wall.
To enter the temple, you’ll require three essential items: Forgotten Tablet A, Forgotten Tablet B, and Forgotten Tablet C. The first Forgotten Tablet can be found at the Overgrown Forest Temple located on the west side of the Forest.
Take the route over the first gap and navigate to the canyon that divides the western and eastern parts of the Forest. Then, follow the path that curves around the cliff.
At the end of this path lies the Overgrown Forest Temple, featuring two Empty Offering Braziers flanking the entrance arch.
Be warned: if you’re visiting the temple at night, ghosts will appear near the entrance, as well as along the path leading to it, but they can be quickly defeated with an upgraded Whip. Each brazier requires three Forest Stones and one Forest Resin to be lit. Once both are glowing, the door to the Overgrown Forest Temple will open.

How to Obtain Forgotten Tablet B
To find the second Forest Temple, you’ll need to navigate to the eastern part of the Forest. Start at the left side of the lake on the west side, where you’ll spot an entrance to the Hidden Forest Caves.
Pass through and you’ll emerge on the opposite side of the river. From there, you can head back west and knock down a fallen tree to create a permanent crossing between the two areas, with the temple located at the northern end of this section.
As you make your way, keep an eye out for the Leech Nest enemies. You will arrive at a mountainous area marked by boulders and ruins, concluding with a temple blocking your entrance.
How to Obtain Forgotten Tablet C
For the third temple, venture to the eastern side of the Forest by entering through the Hidden Forest Cave on the left edge of the western lake.
Progress eastward, crossing through quicksand areas using rocks and floating platforms until you reach a cave entrance. After that, take the northern path upon sighting the Forest Shrine. Continue southeast over several Toxic Mushrooms until you reach the third temple.
To unlock this temple, you must hit two switches within a limited timeframe. Press the switch next to the pillar and mushroom first before rushing to the switch at the hill’s base.
How to Use the Forgotten Tablets
Once you’ve gathered all three Forgotten Tablets, go back to the grand temple near the Forest’s entrance. Interact with the door to insert the tablets.
After entering, descend the long staircase to reach the Ancient Forest Temple, where you’ll find the Ancient Grove Key nestled beneath a tree on a central platform alongside two Purple Chests.
