The weapons characters use in Neverness to Everness are called Arcs. As you progress, you’ll find Arcs that suit different characters, especially after battles at Scarborough Fair, boss fights, or completing quests.
Not all Arcs are equally powerful. With many available and more coming through future updates, here’s a tier list to help you choose the best Arcs in the game.
How Do Tiers Work?
In the game, Arcs can be upgraded to increase their bonuses. Each Arc has different stats and effects, and some are better than others, especially as you level up your Hunter Level and spend more resources.
You mainly get Arcs through the Scarborough Fair gacha system or by opening packs with keys earned from gameplay. You can also earn new Arcs from completing missions or defeating tough bosses. Once you find an Arc that enhances your team, level it up as much as possible to maximize its benefits. Also, try to obtain good weapons and characters through content like City Tycoon.
Our tier list divides Arcs into three categories:
S-Tier Arcs
These are the top weapons you should actively seek out during your playthrough. Equipping your characters with these early on can dramatically increase their power, making it a priority to improve and level them quickly.
Examples include:
- Blow Up the Crowd: Great for Haniel, boosting her attack and Psyche damage when she’s off-field, and enhancing her damage during her turn.
- Eternal Waltz: Ideal for Fadia, increasing her Mental damage after her Ultimate and boosting her HP, especially effective for characters who scale with HP.
- Fluff of Ferocity: Perfect for crit-reliant characters, increasing critical damage when landing critical hits, making it a versatile choice for many.
- Good Boy’s Grand Adventure: Best for Sakiri users, boosting attack and charge efficiency, leading to faster Ultimate recharges.
- Marching Beyond Time: Excellent for Hotori — if you have her — or characters needing attack and critical rate boosts by stacking Redirects and Support skills.
- Ready-Ready: A good match for Nanally, offering attack boosts and increased damage after Redirect Skills or using her Ultimate.
- Youthful Fantasy: Suited for Daffodil, granting flat Chaos damage and break enhancements, benefiting heavily in combat.
A-Tier Arcs
These are strong weapons but can fall slightly short compared to S-Tier options. They’re still useful for characters you’re not building as a core or until better Arcs are unlocked.
- Good Boy’s Grand Adventure: Valuable for Sakiri, providing attack buffs and faster Ultimate recharge.
- Raging Flames: Excellent for Hathor, increasing her damage outputs and critical hits, especially against Lakshana enemies.
- The Rain that Shook the World: Good for Zero, boosting Cosmos damage and Cycle Intensity after using Redirect Skills.
- Reality Refuge: Useful for Jiuyuan, increasing both Animus and Attachment damage.
- Song of the Whale: Offers damage bonuses against broken enemies and healing effects after enemy defeats.
- Stellar Veil: Great for Aurelia, boosting Psyche damage and critical damage after dealing Psyche damage.
B-Tier Arcs
These are decent weapons primarily useful early on or in specific situations. They can be replaced easily once stronger Arcs become available.
- Clear Skies: Recommended for Mint, providing steady Anima damage boosts with her Ultimate and Redirect Skills.
- Day Off: Suitable for protagonists against multiple enemies, offering energy gain on enemy defeat.
- The Fool’s Spring: Raises basic attack damage for characters with shields.
- Hethereau’s Keeper: Offers flat attack boosts in boss battles, especially useful for characters facing tough enemies.
- Oraora!: Provides consistent basic attack damage increases whenever used by characters.
- Watch Your Heads!: Good for Lakshana characters like Skia, increasing damage and attack for Lakshana enemies.
This tier list helps prioritize which Arcs to chase and level up to strengthen your team in Neverness to Everness.
