A popular adventure game series for PS4 is heading to the PS5, arriving very soon.
Polyarc has announced that they are bringing the world of Moss to the PlayStation 5, but with some important notes. The studio revealed that Moss: The Forgotten Relic, which combines Moss and Moss: Book II, will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC later this summer.
Unfortunately, fans hoping to experience the game in PS VR2 are disappointed. While Moss: The Forgotten Relic will unify both titles into a single definitive edition, it doesn’t seem to include VR support.

Polyarc highlights that the game has been “beautifully enhanced and reimagined” for its new release, featuring several updates to the Moss universe, including:
– Combining two highly praised titles into one seamless experience
– Improved graphics and performance
– New handcrafted cutscenes and a “Smart Follow” camera system
– All downloadable content from “Twilight Garden” included
– A new accessibility feature called “Skip Combat”
Originally launched in 2019 as a PS VR exclusive, Moss was a charming adventure centered around Quill, a young mouse on an epic journey. Its sequel, Moss: Book II, was released in 2022, also for virtual reality devices.
