If you’re trying to find a way to give your reactions on a discussion page more visibility and make it easier for others to respond, here’s a simple solution. This approach allows anyone viewing the conversation to see how many people have reacted with different emojis, making the discussion more lively and interactive.

First, each emoji reaction has a button where users can click to add their reaction. When someone reacts, the number next to the emoji increases, showing how many people have chosen that reaction. You or your team can customize which reactions to include—like thumbs up, thumbs down, laugh, hooray, confused, heart, rocket, eyes, and others—based on what makes sense for your discussion.

To make this work, you’ll need to include specific code snippets for each emoji. These snippets set up the reaction buttons with the emoji symbol, a label for accessibility, and a counter. When a user clicks on a reaction, the number updates to show the total count.

Here’s a quick rundown:
– Create a button for each emoji reaction with the emoji symbol and a place for the number.
– When someone clicks, the count should go up by one to reflect their reaction.
– Users can click again to remove their reaction if they want.

This setup encourages more interaction and makes your discussions more engaging by clearly displaying how others feel about the topic. You don’t need to be a coder to implement this—just copy and integrate the code snippets into your discussion platform, and you’re good to go!

If you want to add more reactions later or change how they look, simply update the emoji icons and labels. This way, your conversations stay lively, and everyone feels more involved.
