In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, some trophies and achievements come with descriptions that can be quite unclear. One such trophy, titled The Reforged, leaves players scratching their heads about what to do.
The description simply states to “reforge the sword you’ve been searching for,” but it doesn’t specify which sword it means. Fortunately, once you learn about the sword in question, completing the task becomes straightforward. You will acquire this sword during the storyline—just be patient.
How to Obtain the Reforged Trophy/Achievement
To sum it up, you need to reforge a specific sword at a Smithy to earn the Reforged trophy or achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The sword you need to work on is called Radzig Koblya’s Sword.
This sword cannot be purchased; instead, you will receive it roughly a third of the way through the game when you confront Istvan Toth. This sword was taken from your father, and Henry is determined to reclaim it.
After you acquire the sword, you can reforge it at a Smithy. This simply means you’ll be making it your own. Head to any Smithy, usually found in most towns, to begin the process.
Be aware that you cannot reforge the Radzig Koblya’s Sword after finishing the game. For reasons we won’t spoil, the sword is renamed Henry’s Longsword post-game, making it impossible to reforge.
Once at the Smithy, interact with the anvil to select what you want to craft. Navigate to the Longswords section, and you’ll find the option to create the Reforged Radzig Koblya’s Sword. You’ll need the following to make it:
- Radzig Koblya’s Sword
- Three Toledo Steel
You can purchase Toledo Steel from any Blacksmith for about 20-30 Groschen each, which makes it a bit pricier than common materials.
Once you select the sword, the crafting begins. The process involves the same steps as making any sword—heat the metal, hammer it, and repeat. However, be cautious, as it’s easier to mess up this process. Keep the sword hot and glowing throughout.
If you create enough sparks while working, Henry will eventually announce that the sword is complete. Congratulations! You’ll now own a fresh Radzig Koblya’s Sword, and the Reforged trophy or achievement will unlock.
Note that reforging the Radzig Koblya’s Sword will replace the original; you can’t hold onto both at the same time.
