Pokémon TCG Pocket offers a variety of secrets for players, including hidden emblems. While the game’s main goal is to collect all available cards, there are numerous cosmetic items that enhance your collection and battle setups. This year, Pokémon TCG Pocket will introduce trading, but the specific details of the system remain unclear.
Celebi has been introduced in Pokémon TCG Pocket as part of the latest Mythical Island expansion, which includes a range of items alongside its ex card. This expansion features 68 new standard and rare cards, emblems, coins, and playmats. Most emblems can be purchased in different sections of the in-game store, while some are hidden and can be unlocked by completing secret missions from Mythical Island.
How to Unlock the Celebi Emblem
Four Cards to Collect
In Pokémon TCG Pocket, players can undertake various missions and themed collections that yield rewards upon completion. These missions require you to obtain specific cards and provide rewards such as Pack Hourglasses and Wonder Hourglasses, as well as emblems.
You can find these missions under the Themed Collections tab located in the bottom right corner. Some collections are hidden and will only appear after you collect all the required cards. This includes the secret Celebi Emblem associated with the Tale of Adventure Themed Collection Mission.
To finish the collection, you need to acquire the following cards: Mythical Slab, Budding Expeditioner (two-diamond rarity), Mew ex (two-star rarity with a rainbow border), and Celebi ex (immersive variant). Once you gather these cards through packs, Wonder Picks, or Pack Points, the secret emblem will be unlocked.
Note that other versions of Mew or Celebi will not count toward completing this secret mission.
This particular secret collection can be quite challenging compared to others. The Mythical Slab and Budding Expeditioner cards are relatively common and can be unlocked over time as you open packs. However, the Mew Ex and Celebi Ex cards are significantly rarer.
I suggest specifically targeting the Mew Ex and Celebi Ex cards when they appear in Wonder Picks. Both of these rare cards can also be purchased using Pack Points, but they cost 1,250 each, which means you’ll need to open about 250 packs to get any of them.
How to Equip the Celebi Emblem
Adding the New Emblem to Your Profile
Once you unlock the Celebi special emblem, equipping it is straightforward. Players can display up to three emblems on their profiles at any given time, including those obtained through promotions and from versus events. While it’s not required to use the emblem, the Celebi ex deck has become one of the standout decks in Pokémon TCG Pocket. You can build this powerful Grass-type deck with any available Celebi ex cards.
You can check other players’ three emblems by visiting their profiles, if you’re friends in Pokémon TCG Pocket. You’ll also see profiles after competing in versus battles against other players.
On the main screen of Pokémon TCG Pocket, click on your profile picture at the top. In the emblems section, if you click on any of your current emblems or an empty slot, you’ll have the option to select a new one to replace it. You can choose any unlocked emblem, with the limitation that only three can be shown on your profile at once.
While emblems aren’t essential in Pokémon TCG Pocket, they provide a great way to showcase your achievements, whether from winning battles or collecting cards. Completing the themed collection to unlock the hidden Celebi emblem does require gathering just four specific cards.
