The Depths is one of the most intriguing spots in Roblox: Fisch, where you can encounter some of the oddest and most fearsome creatures imaginable. If you’re eager to explore this area and catch these elusive beings, be prepared for some tough challenges, including the hunt for a special key.
To guide you through this quest, we’ve put together a comprehensive walkthrough that outlines every step to reach The Depths. It requires patience, so make sure to stock up on bait, as this journey takes time.
How to Reach The Depths
To enter The Depths, you’ll need to meet two key requirements:
- Finish the Vertigo Bestiary.
- Locate The Depths Key.
The good news is that both tasks can be accomplished through fishing. Start by heading to a fishing spot. Specifically, to complete the Vertigo Bestiary, you’ll need to catch a fish at Vertigos Dip.
To access Vertigos Dip, first locate the Strange Whirlpool and jump into it. This whirlpool is fairly common, so you should find it while exploring the islands. Be careful not to confuse it with regular whirlpools; the one you’re looking for has a bright beam shining from its center.
Before jumping in, take a moment to fish a bit to catch an Isonade. This is the only fish you’ll need to catch outside of Vertigos Dip for the Vertigo bestiary. Once you’ve successfully caught the Isonade, you can then jump into the middle of the Strange Whirlpool to reach Vertigos Dip.
When you arrive at Vertigos Dip, dive down to the bottom until you find a fishing area. This is where you’ll be able to catch the rest of the fish required for the Vertigo Bestiary. The Depths Key is also included in this collection, so keep fishing until you reel it in. Besides the Isonade and The Depths Key, you’ll need to catch these other fish to complete the bestiary:

- Rubber Ducky
- Spiderfish
- Voidfin Mahi
- Twilight Eel
- Abyssacuda
- Fangborn Gar
Once you’ve finished the bestiary and found the key, your final task is to seek out The Keeper (20, -705, 1255) and speak with him to unlock the entrance. After doing so, you’ll have permanent access to The Depths.
