Narrative Adventure Game Opus: Prism Peak Coming to PS5 in 2026
While an official PS5 release date has not yet been announced, publisher Shueisha Games has confirmed that Opus: Prism Peak will launch in 2026 (thanks to Gematsu for the update). The PS5 version will be playable at the PlayStation booth during BitSummit PUNCH, held from May 22 to 24 in Kyoto, Japan.
According to an official description, Opus: Prism Peak is a story-driven adventure where you step into the shoes of a tired adult who finds himself disconnected from reality. Using an old camera, you’ll explore a dreamlike realm intertwined with the world you left behind, uncover its secrets, and ultimately find your way back home.
Players take on the role of a middle-aged photojournalist stranded in a mountainous region, tasked with unraveling the mysteries of this strange realm while searching for a way back home.
