Completing Every Cluemaster Challenge Room in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

The Cluemaster has challenge rooms scattered throughout Gotham City, built for Batman to test his intelligence and skills. These puzzles are part of the game LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. When Batman and Robin discover a mysterious photo inside the first Cluemaster puzzle box, they head to the initial Cluemaster Challenge Room. Can you help them escape? Here’s what you need to know to get through these challenge rooms across Gotham.

Cluemaster Challenge Rooms Walkthrough

After Robin is introduced, the Dynamic Duo is tasked with a mission to find puzzle boxes created by The Riddler and Cluemaster. They then head to the first Cluemaster Challenge Room. As Robin tries to open the door, they’re ambushed by Two-Face’s henchmen. After defeating them, you can enter and begin the puzzle.

Completing these challenges rewards you with WayneTech Chips, a Red Queen outfit, Batman’s Serial outfit, LEGO Batman: The Video Game outfit, and a Gold Skill Brick.

Newtown Cluemaster Challenge Room

In this room, a robot stands on some squares. You need to navigate the robot to the checkered square using directional tiles. Place the correct tiles into the slots and press the red button to make the robot move. The sequence is as follows:

Room 1: East, East
Room 2: North, East, North, East, East

Old Gotham North	West, North, North, East, East, South
Old Gotham South	Use Spray Explosive on the wall to reveal more tiles. Then, go East, South, East, East, North, North.
The Cauldron South	Break shelves to access tiles, then use the pulley system. Final sequence: East, North, East, East, East, North.
The Cauldron North	Requires Nightwing and Jim Gordon: Power generators, pry open doors, align cables, and follow this path: North, West, North, North, East, North.
East End – Amusement Mile	Nightwing is needed: activate generators, go through vents, move boxes, and follow sequences: First room: East, East, North, East, North, North; second room: South, West, South, West, West, North, West.
Gotham Village – Robinson Park	Smash obstacles, stand on the button, or break walls with spray explosives. Sequence: East, South, East, South, South, East.
Old Gotham West	Jim Gordon required: foam vents, match objects to the mirror with sequences, and connect cables to move the trolley. Path sequence: South2, West2, West1, North1, North1, then match objects: North tiles in slots.
