LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has many Red Bricks hidden throughout the levels, and most of them need some problem-solving to unlock. Among the earliest ones you can find are the Red Bricks located at ACE Chemicals, the League of Shadows fortress, and behind the vault code in the Iceberg Lounge.

You’ll come across ACE Chemicals early in the game during the Red Hood Gang storyline. If you miss grabbing the Red Brick on your first visit, don’t worry—you can replay the mission using the Batcomputer in the Batcave. Just go to the “Red Hood Gang” section and select “ACE Chemicals” to try again.

How to Get the Red Brick in ACE Chemicals

Once you’re in the ACE Chemicals level, proceed until you get the objective called “Follow the bears.” You’ll walk down a narrow corridor where Red Hood Gang members are underneath you. Look to your right—you’ll see the Red Brick stuck inside a pipe behind some glass. At the end of the corridor, turn right to find a crawlspace, as shown in the picture.

Enter this crawlspace and use Gordon. Spray foam on the pipe, then repeat this process whenever the Red Brick gets stuck further along the pipeline (see the images below). Eventually, the brick will come out. You can walk back the way you came or have Batman yank the hatch open and grapple through the opening.

Step-by-Step Guide to Finding the ACE Chemicals Red Brick:

Play through the mission until you see the “Follow the bears” objective, crossing a narrow hallway with gang members underneath.
Enter the crawlspace immediately to the right at the end of the hall.
Use Gordon to spray foam at each section of the pipeline until the Red Brick is freed.
Use Batman to open the hatch and grapple through the wall.
Spray foam on the final leak with Gordon.
Collect the Red Brick inside ACE Chemicals.

This Red Brick unlocks the Toxic Waste Modifier. Even if you’re not into cosmetics, you’ll need all Red Bricks to reach 100% completion. Luckily, finding this one in the game isn’t very difficult.
