How to Complete All Plantlife Tasks in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

After encountering Poison Ivy in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Batman notices her extensive, twisted vines scattered across Gotham. Each vine is attached to dangerous pods and guarded by plant-like minions. It’s up to Batman and his team to eliminate each one and clear the city.

You may come across these mini-plant missions on your own, but destroying them presents its own challenges. Here’s a guide to help you locate and defeat all the Plantlife enemies in Legacy of the Dark Knight.

Plantlife Side Quest Walkthrough

Each carnivorous plant is surrounded by vines that lead to pods, which sometimes release mini bombs. To defeat the mother plant, you must destroy all these pods first. Follow the vines to locate each pod, then proceed with the attack.

Tip: If you lose track of the vines, activate your Detect Sense to find them again.

Once the pods are taken out and plant minions defeated, return to the main plant and use the freeze spray to immobilize and destroy it. There are ten mini-missions related to Plantlife, offering big rewards like WayneTech Chips, a special Lego Batman costume, and a Gold Skill Brick.

Location	Guide Summary
East End – Amusement Mile Requires Nightwing	Grapple to the tower’s top, move the gargoyle, destroy the first pod, and follow the vines around the tower. Use the bell on the side to reveal the second pod. Charge the nearby machine, drop inside, and destroy the third pod, then freeze and defeat the main plant.
Gotham Village – Robinson Park Requires Batgirl	Land on top, eliminate plant minions, then handle the pods shooting mini bombs. Hack a machine to open a wall, glide inside to attack the mother plant, then freeze and destroy it.
Newtown Requires Catwoman	Follow vines to shipping containers, break locks, grapple and move cranes, then use the spray and whip to access pods inside containers. Freeze and disable the mother plant afterward.
Old Gotham North Requires Jim Gordon and Catwoman	Take out minions, enter via vent, destroy pods, and use foam to disable the final pod at the top of a building. Return to the mother plant and freeze to destroy it.
The Cauldron South Requires Catwoman	Clear minions, build a tire pile, jump onto a scissor lift, smash through walls with explosive spray, and destroy the pods inside the chemical plant. Freeze and defeat the main plant.
The Cauldron North Requires Catwoman	Drop to the vent, destroy pods while avoiding mini bombs, and navigate through the chemical plant. Use Catwoman to climb and pull levers to expose pods, then freeze and eliminate the mother plant.
Tricorner Requires Jim Gordon	Land atop a construction site, find a key to open hatches, destroy pods inside, and grapple across platforms. Use Jim Gordon’s foam and character switches to reach and destroy all pods before taking down the mother plant.
