How to Complete All Red Brick Modifiers and Solve Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

In LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Red Bricks function a bit differently compared to other games. Instead of providing major boosts like ten times the studs or one-hit melee kills, these bricks unlock color schemes for characters and vehicles. This lets you customize the Bat-Family even further.

There are a total of 23 Red Bricks hidden throughout the game, but only 14 are available in the main story. The remaining bricks can be bought at various Bat-Mite shops located around Gotham City and in the Batcave. Prices for these bricks range from 15,000 to 50,000 studs each.

| New Beginnings | At the end of the mission, inside the building to the left, accessible via skylight. |
| Filthy Rich | In the vault of the VIP lounge, entered by the code “596”. |
| Toxic Waste | After the Toxic Waste mission: Exit the subway in the direction opposite the ladder, head toward the Bane tumblers, and use the battle staff to charge the garbage truck. Use the hackarang on the terminal to move it forward and secure the Red Brick. |
| The Red Hood Gang | Behind a hole in the wall in the corridor above the party-hardy Red Hood thugs, stop the leaks with Jim Gordon’s foam gun until the brick fires out from the other side. |
| Feline | In the Feline mission: Complete the minigame to reveal the Red Brick, which is encased in glass near the right of the Shrecks sign. |
| Gothic | In the Gothic mission: Dispatch explosive penguins, crawl through the hole in the wall, then use detective vision to find a hidden vent under a crate of fish. Swap the yellow umbrella with a red one, turn the dial until it faces the cage, then stand on a pressure plate. |
| The Penguin | Inside the Penguin level: Grapple up to the window near the second and third floats, pull the TV, and follow the vent into the next room to find the brick. |
| Artist | During the Artist mission: Climb onto the desk, navigate into a vent, and reach the rafters above. |
| Flugelheim | Once a cat goes through the vent to open the gate to the Joker bust, climb onto the desk and around the room into another vent leading to the rafters. |
| Showbiz | In the Showbiz level: Grapple up through the window next to the floats, then reach the next room via a vent where the brick is placed. |
| Joker | Inside the Showbiz mission: Grapple up to the window near the floats, then crawl through the vent to reach the brick location. |
| Clown | Use the Test Your Strength machine in the ring of fire, throw a birdarang at all three targets to locate the brick. |
| Power Plant | In the Power Plant: Pry open the door at the start, follow the path, and use the console to raise the platform to reveal the brick. |
| Kite Man | At the start, pry open the balcony door, use the Cable Launcher to pull the fuse, and insert the battle staff in the console. Jump onto the fan to lower the platform and reach the brick. |
| Flower Power | Inside the Flower Power mission: Place the green and red plants on corresponding pressure pads to reveal the brick encased in glass behind double doors. |
| Poison Ivy | Near the double doors with a grapple point: Find the brick inside the glass case, which involves placing two plants on the pressure pads. |
| Fire Breather | Before entering the space exhibit: Turn the valves on four projectors, set all images to Mars, which opens a sphere revealing the brick. |
| Ice Age | After Nightwing joins and Batman turns into an ice cube: Turn around the arena and free the three switchboards with Nightwing’s birdarang, then open the glass case to find the brick. |
| Mr. Freeze | In the Ice Age level: Throw a hackarang at the panel above the trapped grate, then use Nightwing’s birdarang to hit all switches, opening the box with the brick inside. |
| Bats | After the subway, find the brick in the GCPD section by using detective vision near the police station. |
| The League of Shadows Returns | After exiting the subway, head toward the Bane tumblers, charge the garbage truck, and use a hackarang on the terminal to drive it forward, providing cover to grab the brick behind. |

### Red Bricks Sold at the Bat-Mite Shop

The remaining Red Bricks are sold at the Bat-Mite shop located at the front podium. The shop refreshes periodically, and Bat-Mite will notify you when new gear is available. You can purchase different costume colors and modifications for the seven characters, with prices ranging from 15,000 to 50,000 studs each.
