When you explore Tokyo and its surrounding areas in Forza Horizon 6, you’ll come across clues to find nine Treasure Cars. These cars make up only a small part of the full car list. One Treasure Car is hidden in each region of Japan in the game, except for Legend Island, which you can’t access until you earn the highest festival badge, the gold wristband.
Each Treasure Car clue is a photo with a brief hint about where to find it. The region is shown on the Treasure Cars screen, helping you narrow down your search. You will need to spot key landmarks shown in the photos, such as large structures like windmills or radio towers. After identifying the location, you can check the map for an exact spot, which includes a screenshot showing where the car is parked.
BMW M1 Location
Region: Hokubu
The BMW M1 from 1981 is parked near the northern edge of Hokubu. Look for the big, colorful flower fields to the southwest as a landmark. The car is parked under a bridge that crosses a railway, close to some construction scaffolding. You may need to do some off-road driving to reach it since the bridge isn’t drivable.
Dodge Charger R/T Location
Region: Minamino
This 1969 Dodge Charger R/T is by the game’s only golf course, which is easy to find in the middle of Minamino. The car is parked outside the clubhouse on the east side of the course, roughly at its halfway point. Keep an eye out for golf carts nearby, which can help you confirm you’re close.
Nissan Figaro ’91 Location
Region: Tokyo City
The Nissan Figaro from 1991 is situated just south of Tokyo City. To find it, head west from the northern end of a suspension bridge over the river. As you follow the main road near the water, look for parking lots. The Figaro is parked near these lots, making it an easier find.
Ford GT ’05 Location
Region: Nangan
Across the bay from the Figaro, you’ll discover the Ford GT from 2005. It sits on a beach along a dirt road near the mouth of the bay. You can see the dirt path on the map, leading directly to the spot. Driving through the foliage also works to reach the car.
Lancia Stratos HF Stradale Location
Region: Sotoyama
Find the Lancia Stratos just north of the mountains, near the snowy edges of the region. If you turn off the main road and go north along a snow-covered route, a small building will appear on your left. The vehicle is parked just behind this building.
Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE Location
Region: Ohtani
The Mazda RX-7 from 1985 is close to the western boundary of Ohtani. From the Festival site, head west through a tunnel and then around a bend. The car is parked in front of some radio towers near the water, across from the main area, on a short dirt road leading toward the towers.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR Location
Region: Takashiro
The Mitsubishi Lancer is hidden at the far west of Takashiro. Its image clue is a waterfall, which might be tricky to find. Drive to the region’s western edge, and after passing through a small scenic dirt road, you’ll find a short route ending at the Lancer, parked at the end.
Nissan Safari Turbo Location
Region: Ito
The Nissan Safari Turbo is located near the northern hills of Ito, marked by a windmill at the bay’s mouth. The wind farm is visible from the hills, and the car is parked along a hillside dirt road near a Drift Zone, which is accessible if you have the orange wristband.
Porsche 959 Location
Region: Shimanoyama
The Porsche 959 is the most difficult to find. The clue is a photo of a convenience store. However, several similar stores are scattered across the region. The correct one is in the northern part of Shimanoyama, in the game’s recreation of Narai-Juku—an old Japanese town. The store with the Porsche outside is the only modern building in the area, set near a small mountain.
These hints should help you track down the Treasure Cars across Japan in the game. Happy hunting!
