In Destiny 2, the new episode titled Revenant introduces a fresh title for players to pursue: Slayer Baron. Like previous seasonal titles, earning this one involves showcasing your skills in new activities while also gathering various weapons and armor. For players comfortable with completing 50 waves in Onslaught, the title should be relatively straightforward to attain.
This guide will detail how to complete all 16 Triumphs associated with the Slayer Baron title. Remember, you only need to finish 15 of the Triumphs to claim the title, so feel free to skip any that appear particularly challenging.
Risen and Fallen
Complete tasks related to the Revenant story quest.
To earn this Triumph, you must fully complete the Revenant story quest. You’ll receive the quest automatically upon logging in for the season. After finishing the quest chain, make sure to claim your Triumph.
Don’t forget, you’ll also need to finish the Kell’s Fall Exotic mission to wrap this up. New players may want to team up with friends or refine their gear beforehand, as the mission can be a bit daunting for novices.
Obtain the Shadestalker Armor Set
Collect a full set of Shadestalker armor.
The Shadestalker armor set can be acquired through various Revenant-themed activities and certain tonics. If you’re having trouble getting the complete set to drop, you can also obtain pieces via the Season Pass.
Earn the Fair Judgment Auto Rifle
Obtain the Fair Judgment ritual weapon.
The Fair Judgment is this season’s ritual weapon. To earn it, you’ll need to reach Rank 16 with any ritual vendor—Zavala, Shaxx, or the Drifter. Progress towards ranking up can be made through their respective activities. If you prefer PvP, focus on building max reputation with Shaxx; if Strikes and Onslaught are more your style, then Zavala is the way to go.
If you haven’t unlocked a ritual weapon yet, check out our vendor reputation guides for more information on how reputation rewards operate in Destiny 2.
Defender of the Innocent
Purchase or upgrade defenses in Onslaught: Salvation.
This Triumph is simple. Throughout Onslaught, you can buy and enhance defenses between waves. Your progress appears to correlate with the amount of Scrap you spend, so try to maximize your upgrades before the match concludes. You’ll need to complete the activity on Normal difficulty, so this challenge will likely take care of itself as you work through related Onslaught Triumphs.
Sabotage Barrage
Defeat Saboteurs in Onslaught: Salvation.
Saboteurs are miniboss units that spawn during an Onslaught session, usually targeting your ADU while ignoring traps. Their appearances will be tracked on your HUD. While the API indicates that you need to defeat 500 Saboteurs, the actual figure is closer to 50 kills.
Eliksni Defender
Clear Onslaught: Salvation on Normal difficulty.
To complete this Triumph, you need to conquer Onslaught: Salvation, which consists of 50 waves. Ensure you’re equipped with powerful builds, as the last ten waves present a -20 Power delta challenge. Using tools like Shadowshot, turrets from Speaker’s Helm, and Berserker Titans will help your chances.
The good news is you only need to complete this once on Normal difficulty. Just be prepared to counter all Champion types, and make sure you’re in a strong fireteam to ensure success.
Barren Ground
Defeat Revenant Barons in Onslaught: Salvation.
Within Onslaught: Salvation, Barons act as bosses that can revive themselves if you don’t destroy their Scorn torches after defeating them. As you continue to farm this activity, you should be close to completing this Triumph by the time you finish off the other related Triumphs.
Tomb Doomer
Defeat unique bosses in the Tomb of Elders.
There are four unique bosses to defeat in the Tomb of Elders:
- The Machinist
- Sylok, the Defiled
- Lucent fireteam
- Psion Commander
You will face one of these bosses at the end of each run. Defeat the boss, start a new run, and continue until you’ve eliminated all four. You don’t have to defeat them in a single session.
Vengeance, Denied
Complete the "Kell’s Vengeance" run of the Contest of Elders.
Currently unavailable, Kell’s Vengeance is a variant of the Contest of Elders that should return towards the end of this season. Once it’s live, complete the mission to grab this Triumph.
Tomb-Runner
Complete laps in the Tomb of Elders.
Laps involve successfully defeating bosses in the Tomb of Elders. Continue completing activities until the bosses spawn, then eliminate them for rewards. Keep at it until you meet the requirements for all four tiers of this Triumph.
Kellmaker
Complete the Exotic mission "Kell’s Fall."
"Kell’s Fall" is the Exotic mission available this season, and you’ll unlock it during the Act 3 story quest. You only need to complete this mission one time on Normal difficulty to earn this Triumph, even if the seasonal quest chain requires three clears.
Legendary Slayer
Complete the Exotic mission "Kell’s Fall" on Expert difficulty.
Expert difficulty significantly ramps up the challenge, introducing Champions and a forced -20 Power delta. Bring a build focused on survivability, preferably with consistent healing options like Restoration and Devour. If possible, gather a fireteam to tackle this mission.
Sharpened Fang
Unlock all catalysts for the Slayer’s Fang Exotic Shotgun.
To collect every catalyst for Slayer’s Fang, you’ll find them by locating illusory anchors throughout Kell’s Fall. Each catalyst consists of three anchors, totaling 12 for the entire mission. Check out our guide on illusory anchors for details on where to find each one.
Modern Major General
Complete three major fieldworks.
Fieldworks are special bounties offered by Eido in The Last City hub. Before you can access major fieldworks, you’ll first need to complete minor fieldworks, which you obtain by discovering tonic recipes. Once you’ve successfully finished enough minor tasks, you can take on a major fieldwork. You need to complete a total of four major fieldworks, which can be completed across different acts.
Medicinal Master
Craft 100 tonics.
Visit The Last City hub to create tonics using this season’s crafting currencies. Refer to our tonics guide for an overview of the crafting system and instructions on how to utilize your tonics effectively.
Cordial Collector
Complete any tonic collection.
Tonic collections are based on Acts rather than on subcategories in the alchemy menu. Continue crafting tonics to unlock enough recipes and complete this Triumph. It’s that easy!
