During your adventure in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, there are many side quests to engage in, with “Branded And Exiled” being a straightforward yet fulfilling challenge. While exploring the Horns of the South, you’ll encounter numerous bandits that plague the area and pose a significant threat.
To understand just how dangerous these bandits can be, talk to Rhosyn, whose husband, Morris, has been kidnapped by a notorious bandit named Bald Cait. It’s your mission to find and rescue Morris before it’s too late.
How to Start “Branded And Exiled”
To kick off this quest, find Rhosyn located in the southwestern corner of the map, beyond the main compound in the Village.
Follow the winding path that runs along the fortress’s perimeter and descend the numerous stairs to reach the Village area.
As soon as you enter the Village, turn left (southwest) right after passing through the gate. Continue along the path, and you’ll come across Rhosyn’s house.
Speak with her to gather more information about her missing husband, who she hopes might still be alive. This interaction will initiate the Branded And Exiled quest.
How to Rescue Morris & Defeat Bald Cait
Sadly, Morris is being held in Bald Cait’s camp, which can be found at The Mill in the Abandoned Village to the east.
Make your way to the Abandoned Village, located east of the Abandoned Stronghold and northwest of the Ruined Broch.
Eliminate the bandits in the area and head straight to The Mill. Once inside, battle your way down to Bald Cait’s hideout, where she and her henchmen will be ready for you.
Cait is a formidable opponent who strikes often, so try to stagger her before she overwhelms you. Dodge as many of her attacks as possible and counterattack from a distance to reduce her minions before facing Cait alone.
After you defeat Cait, loot her body for her head, along with Bald Cait’s Tunic, 77 coins, a Branding Iron, Leather Gloves, Leather Pants, and Sturdy Leather Boots.
Once you retrieve her head, talk to Morris, free him from captivity, and give him Bald Cait’s head before sending him back to the Horns of the South.
After wrapping things up at The Mill, return to the surface and exit the Abandoned Village.
What Rewards Do You Get from “Branded And Exiled”?
Once you’re back in the village, check in on the reunited couple and collect your rewards. After speaking with them, they will express their gratitude and offer you rewards from each of them.
You will receive 1,500 experience points and 250 coins for your efforts.
