Quick Links
Camellya is one of the most powerful DPS characters in Wuthering Waves, but to maximize her potential for high-level gameplay, you’ll need to gather a variety of ascension materials and level her up to 90. This process requires significant effort, as collecting all the necessary resources could take you about a week of grinding.
Fortunately, the materials for Camellya are not too scattered, making the collection process easier compared to that of other characters. If you’ve acquired Camellya or are thinking about it, here’s what you’ll need for her ascension to reach the maximum level.

Gathering the Key Materials for Camellya
Here’s how you can obtain all of the crucial materials needed for Camellya:
Nova
Nova is a local specialty from the Black Shores and can be found throughout that area. To access the full region, you need to finish the quest Chapter 1 Act 8: To The Shore’s End.
There are two main sections in this region:
- Black Shores Archipelago (upper section)
- Tethy’s Deep (lower section)
Most of the Nova is found in Tethy’s Deep, while Black Shores Archipelago has some as well.
Topological Confinement
You obtain Topological Confinement from battling the boss Fallacy of No Return. You can challenge this enemy after completing Chapter 1 Act 8: To The Shore’s End.
You’ll require 60 Waveplates per attempt, and the amount you receive will vary based on your Union Level.
Whisperin Core
Whisperin Core materials can be farmed by defeating various non-human adversaries, including Autopuppet Scout, Carapace, Aero Predator, Electro Predator, Glacio Prism, Havoc Prism, and Clang Bang. These enemies are found all over the map, making them the easiest materials to collect.
Camellya Forte Materials
After leveling up Camellya, you’ll need to enhance her Forte to boost her damage further. The Forte leveling system is linked to character level, and you can’t exceed a certain level cap unless the character has been ascended.
It’s best to level Camellya to at least 80 or 90 before focusing on her Forte upgrades.
Here’s the list of materials required to upgrade her Forte:
- Inert Metallic Drip
- Reactive Metallic Drip
- Polarized Metallic Drip
- Heterized Metallic Drip
- Dreamless Feather
You can gather the drip items from the Forgery Challenge Flaming Remnant, located in the Sea of Flames within Huanglong on the left side of the map.
The Dreamless Feather drops from the weekly boss Statue of the Crownless: Heart. To unlock it, you must complete Chapter 1: Act 6 of the Main Quest, and you can only farm it three times each week.
Additionally, make sure you gather the Whisperin Core mob materials as previously detailed, which can also be collected the same way.
