In Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream, you have the opportunity to recreate your friends, family, and favorite characters as cute little avatars. They’ll live together on an island you design, and you can dress them up and give them gifts as often as you like.

One of the best gifts you can give your characters is a pet, and we can help you find ways to get them. There are many different pets to choose from, and you can even create your own! Below, you’ll see all the pets you can unlock and the chances you’ll have to make memories with them in the game.

All Pets and How to Get Them

Pets are special items you can earn by winning mini-games. Some pets are obtained at random from prize boxes or in dreams. You can also create your own pets in the Palette House.

Take a look at all the pets you can unlock, depending on the size of the prize box you pick. Keep in mind, the selection is random, so there’s no guarantee you’ll get the pet you want on your first try.

A special pet called the UFO is only available after completing the Alien Abduction Dream event.

What to Do with Pets

Pets can be gifted to the Miis on your island. Once gifted, they will play with their pets and take them for walks. You might even see a pet chasing a Mii in the plaza. When your Miis appreciate a pet, you’ll gain experience points, so choose gifts wisely!

If you prefer not to keep a pet, you can sell them at the Rite Price pawn shop for extra cash. Giving gifts and selling pets are optional but fun ways to customize your island experience.
