On December 5, 2023, a recent inquiry from an investor on an interactive platform sparked discussions about a collaboration between Keda Xunfei and Huawei regarding the newly released Mate 70 series.
In response, Keda Xunfei confirmed that it has provided technical support for several features in the Huawei Mate 70, including the large-scale model-based call summary function, a dialect recognition feature, and the whole-home broadcasting capabilities within smart home scenarios.
The company emphasized that Keda Xunfei and Huawei have maintained a strong partnership and ongoing communication. They have signed agreements related to the HarmonyOS ecosystem and plan to continue their comprehensive collaboration in areas such as technological innovation, industrial application, and commercial partnerships to jointly build an artificial intelligence industry ecosystem.
Notably, back in October of last year, Keda Xunfei and Huawei collaborated to launch the “Feixing No. 1” platform, which serves as a self-controlled large model computing power base based on the Ascend ecosystem.
Huawei’s Xu Zhi-jun stated that all speech technology used in Huawei’s smart devices globally comes from Keda Xunfei, extending beyond just the Chinese language. In addition, they have co-developed the “Xiao Yi” voice restoration technology, enabling AI to assist individuals with speech impairments in communicating more freely.
This partnership marks a significant stride towards advancing AI technologies and furthering the integration of innovative features in smart devices.
