Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3090 Ti has finally arrived

The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti was teased at CES 2022 by Nvidia, and now that GPU has been released.

There’s no doubt that the RTX 3090 Ti is a powerful graphics card: visually, it will look similar to the existing RTX 3090, but it will offer 24GB of GDDR6X memory running at 21Gbps.

It packs in a lot of power and with that much memory, the RTX 3090 Ti is a real powerhouse. According to Nvidia, it is 60 percent faster than the previous generation 2080 Ti and 55 percent faster than the Nvidia Titan RTX.

According to NVIDIA, the RTX 3090 Ti has the highest number of CUDA cores yet – a record-breaking 10,752. Moreover, it has 78 RT-TFLOPs, 40 Shader-TFLOPs, and 320 Tensor-TFLOPs of processing power.

Gamer, content creators, and data scientists alike will benefit from this graphics card, which delivers serious power. In addition, if you’re a gamer who demands the best, you won’t be disappointed. Nvidia’s DLSS technology allows for 8K visuals or ray tracing on 4K games with maximum settings.

You may need a bigger power supply unit, however, as the 3090 Ti needs 100 watts more than the 3090 and recommends at least 850 watts with 3x PCIe 8-pin cables or a PCIe Gen 5 cable if you plan to purchase.

Price

Performance and power aren’t the only factors in play here: the asking price is also considerable. Founder’s Edition cards will retail for $1,999, £1,879, and €2,249. Nvidia’s partners will also offer other models, including ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galax, Gigabyte, INNO3D, MSI, Palit, PNY, and Zotac.
