This week Facebook has released a new Facebook’s new logo to help people differentiate even easier on other apps such as WhatsApp and Instagram.

Facebook’s new logo will be seen on all facebook owned apps such as Whatsapp and Instagram.

This will help users know that who is owning the app and on whose servers their information is getting stored.
As per the recent studies conducted by PEW research, 71% of the Americans did not know that Instagram and Whatsapp are acquired by Facebook.
Facebook wants to make it clear that which apps are owned by them, so if a user has any issues with the organization so they don’t sign up in the first place. This action is to protect facebook to get involved in even more scandals.
Facebook in-app branding is in works for several months which had started back in March 2019.
