Samsung has officially announced that its next Unpacked event is set for Wednesday, January 22, in San Jose, California. While the company has not explicitly named the Galaxy S25 series, it does indicate that “the new Galaxy S series” will be unveiled during this month’s Unpacked.

Samsung also released an image for the event invite, which shows the corners of four smartphones touching. This design possibly hints at the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 Slim. While speculation has been mixed regarding the S25 Slim’s debut at this event versus a later reveal, the invitation suggests that we might at least get a glimpse of the device.
The upcoming Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus are expected to feature only modest upgrades. In contrast, the S25 Ultra might showcase a slightly revamped design without any major changes. The Galaxy S25 Slim is poised to be the most intriguing of the new lineup, presenting a focus on an ultra-slim profile.
To make the most of the upcoming Galaxy S25, Samsung has launched a Reserve promotion, allowing customers to get a $50 credit when they pre-order the device. To participate, simply visit Samsung’s website and register your email by January 22. Plus, this promotion enters you for a chance to win a $5,000 Samsung gift card.
