Witnesses reported that Tahir Ameen stopped amid fast-moving traffic, with vehicles traveling at speeds of up to 140 km/h, to pick up the flag. He was later seen handling the flag with respect before reaching a safe spot.

The incident quickly spread across social media platforms, with many Emirati users commending his act as a display of respect and loyalty to the country.

In an interview with Geo News, Tahir Ameen shared that he moved to Dubai 18 years ago and started his journey working as a cleaner. Over time, he managed to climb the ranks to a managerial position.

“Dubai has given me so much, and as Pakistanis living here, it’s our duty to honor this country and its flag,” he stated.
