The country’s cyberspace authority has initiated a four-month initiative targeting disinformation and malicious content created by artificial intelligence.
According to official sources, the effort aims to prevent the misuse of AI to generate and distribute false information, infringe upon minors’ rights, and distort or misrepresent traditional cultural and literary works. The campaign also focuses on combating low-quality content produced by AI, often referred to as “digital trash,” which includes material with illogical reasoning, harmful ideals, and skewed cultural narratives.
Additionally, the initiative will scrutinize the registration, safety review processes, and the training data security of large AI models. An official from the regulatory body emphasized that this campaign is crucial for ensuring the healthy development of AI services and safeguarding the rights and interests of internet users.
