  • Pakistan’s counter-offensive catches India off guard on multiple levels.
  • Less than 10% of Pakistan’s cyber warfare tools were deployed.
  • A cyberattack erased 1,744 servers and disabled 13 government websites.

ISLAMABAD: In a strategic retaliation, Pakistan deployed less than 10% of its cyber capabilities, resulting in significant damage to India, according to a senior defense official.

This limited yet effective cyber operation sent shockwaves throughout India, which prides itself on being a global IT leader. The unexpected counter-offensive from Pakistan unfolded on multiple fronts, with the most severe impact occurring in the realm of cyberspace.

“While spectators witnessed Pakistan’s surgical air operation featuring Fateh-1 and Fateh-2 rockets, alongside Babur cruise missiles striking vital targets—such as India’s coveted S-400 radar—chaos also erupted from a covert cyber attack,” the source explained.

According to security officials, the fallout from Pakistan’s cyber maneuver included: the destruction of 10 SCADA arrays; the wiping of 1,744 servers; disabling 13 government websites; the disruption of railway systems; and the throttling of power grids, leading to Mumbai operating on emergency backup.

“Pakistan engaged in advanced tactics such as GPS spoofing, signal jamming, satellite blinding, and database infiltration, ultimately triggering a market downturn and halting critical infrastructure,” the source elaborated.

“This isn’t just a standard retaliation; it’s an instance of fifth-generation warfare—where Pakistan is not merely reacting but redefining the rules of engagement,” the source added. “In this conflict, there are no tanks or treaties, only firmware, fiber optics, frequencies, and fear.”

Utilizing Fateh-1 and Fateh-2, Pakistan deployed unarmed drones over key cities like New Delhi and Gujarat—not for strikes, but for psychological operations. Additionally, ‘Kamikaze’ drones complemented these tactics, employing electronic warfare tools to disrupt enemy communications and blind their defense systems.

With precise intelligence, Pakistani forces identified and neutralized Indian camps responsible for instigating improvised explosive device (IED) attacks within Pakistan, targeting the masterminds behind these operations.
