If you want to quickly and easily add reactions to comments or posts on a platform like GitHub, here’s a simple way to do it. Reactions are a great way to show appreciation or agreement without writing a comment.
First, look for the reaction icons below the comment or post. Common options include thumbs up, thumbs down, laugh, hooray, confused, heart, rocket, and eyes. Each of these icons is a button that you can click.
To react, just click on the icon that matches your feeling. Once you click it, your reaction will appear below the comment, and the number next to the icon will increase, showing how many people have responded with that reaction.
If you want to change your reaction, you can click the same icon again to remove it, or choose a different reaction. This way, you can easily express your thoughts without typing a reply.
Adding reactions is a quick way to share your feelings and support others’ contributions without cluttering the conversation. Just find the reaction buttons, click the one that fits your mood, and you’re all set!
