Another exciting event is on the horizon for Pokémon GO enthusiasts! The Just My Cup of Tea event should definitely be on your radar. This five-day celebration features the introduction of a brand new Pokémon and its evolved form, along with the first-ever Shiny variant of one Pokémon making its appearance. The event will kick off on Tuesday, December 3, at 10 AM local time, and will run through Saturday, December 7, at 8 PM local time.

The best part of the Just My Cup of Tea event? There’s no ticket requirement! This means that every player can participate in all of the activities available. Expect to see an uptick in certain Pokémon spawns in the wild and when using incense. Additionally, there will be exclusive research tasks and special raids to keep trainers fully engaged. Following the bonuses from the recent Wild Area Global event, the Just My Cup of Tea event promises to deliver its own set of exciting incentives.

First-Time Appearances
The primary attraction for trainers will be the chance to catch Sinistea, a Ghost-type Pokémon from Generation 8. Players can find Sinistea in One-Star Raid Battles, making it easy to catch and add to their Pokédex.
In addition to Sinistea, players will also get the opportunity to evolve it into Polteageist by collecting 50 Sinistea candies. While its evolution has more than one version in original games with various methods of evolution, this hasn’t been confirmed for Pokémon GO just yet. Despite ongoing discussions about the game’s relevance in 2024, fans can look forward to new Pokémon to catch and train.

Additionally, for the entire duration of the event, six different Pokémon will be attracted to Incense: Oddish, Miltank, Combee, Gothita, Litwick, and Spritzee. These six Pokémon can also be shiny, providing a fantastic opportunity for trainers to catch Pokémon that typically only appear in specific events.

Throughout the Just My Cup of Tea event, players will enjoy two significant bonuses. Every trainer will benefit from double friendship bonus damage in raids, making it easier to tackle Chill Drive Genesect with your friends. Plus, complete raids will yield 50% more stardust, which is crucial for powering up your Pokémon.
