During the Winter Frost Fashionwave Season, there are even more special tasks you can complete. One of these is a series of quests starting with A Major Discovery. We’ll guide you through each step so you can unlock some of the latest features added to the game. Here’s what you need to know to begin A Major Discovery in Heartopia.
How to Start A Major Discovery
When this quest becomes available, after finishing the previous story quests for the Winter Frost Season, you’ll get a call from Naughty about the weather. He’s made a discovery concerning the crystal petals falling on the mountain—those snowflakes.
He won’t tell you much about where to look—only that you need to look where the snowflakes, or crystal petals, fear most. Since snowflakes are afraid of heat, you’ll have to figure out where to search.
Where to Find the Onsen Treasure
Head up to Onsen Mountain and go toward the bus stop. Next to the hot spring behind the bus stop, you’ll find a glowing orb near the inflatable pineapple float. Interact with it to discover what Naughty was talking about.
This begins a series of small quests, each focused on a single object, which will help you progress through the story.
Where to Take the Strange Bird Feather
Once you’ve obtained the wet bird feather Naughty mentioned, go to the town square. Take the staircase up to Bailey J.’s study above the pet shop.
Speak with Bailey J. to discuss the source of the feather. She might panic briefly, but she will calm down. Afterward, you’ll receive a call from Naughty, kicking off the next part of the quest.
Where to Find Annie During Frost Season
While the event is active, go to the shoreline of Onsen Mountain near the Old Sea. Find Annie on the hill near Massimo’s pop-up stall. Talk to her about the Penguins?! quest to move the story forward.
She will tell you that Harry has made another discovery. Now, you need to find him—here’s where he is.
Where to Find Harry During Frost Season
Harry is usually at the beach near the Duck Jump Puzzle, but during this season, he stands at the bottom of the slide into the ice rink.
Talking to him about the Another “Major Discovery” quest will trigger a surprise cutscene confirming what you probably suspected. Then, return to Annie, who has moved to the coffee stand on the ice rink, to discuss the real penguins!
Where to Find the Penguins on Onsen Mountain
Make your way to the shoreline of Onsen Mountain for the event. From there, head northeast along the slope and under the docks to spot the penguins gathering. You can also find the Penguin Trough in this area.
On the beach, a new cutscene will unfold involving the device the penguins accidentally stole from the island. After this scene, the week’s quests are complete, but the story isn’t over yet! Atara mentions that you should ask Bob to create a new mechanical skeleton for the fake penguin doll to continue the adventure.
