In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, hidden gems are plentiful, and one such treasure is tucked away in the Dellamorte Estates. Players can earn this reward by cracking an intriguing puzzle. Within the city of Treviso, you’ll encounter fascinating monuments that can be interacted with to uncover a concealed secret. Those who delve into the puzzle at the Estates can unlock powerful new items to aid them in their adventures.
Searching for treasures is a major incentive to thoroughly explore each location you come across. Important collectibles, like Etheric Remnants in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, are often hidden in secret areas of your map, which you can access by solving puzzles akin to the one in the Dellamorte Estates. Additionally, uncovering new locations can sometimes lead to the initiation of side quests that provide even more rewards.
How to Locate the Dellamorte Estates Puzzle
Explore the Treviso Canals
Once you arrive in Treviso, head to the northeast part of your map to find the Dellamorte Estates. Look for the Treviso Canals area, where a beautiful garden filled with statues awaits you. These statues hold the key to solving the puzzle, but you first need to find the precise location of the Estates.
Finding the Canals is much simpler if you begin at the Grande Market Beacon and continue north past the Heart and Central Beacons in that area. Follow the vines that lead into the Estates garden, where the statues are positioned. You’ll also find clues to guide you among several trees scattered around the northern section of the city.
Be prepared to face some enemies on your path to the Dellamorte Estates. Defeating these foes can strengthen your bond with Lucanis, making it worthwhile to take the time to eliminate them.
Before you can enter Treviso in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you must first complete the “Sea of Blood” quest. This allows you to recruit Lucanis, whose skills are essential for cracking the Estates puzzle.
Once you’ve passed over a bridge into the garden, you will have entered the Treviso Canals and can commence the puzzle challenge. Feel free to utilize zip lines or other city traversal tools to simplify your search for the puzzle. Fortunately, you only need Lucanis’ abilities to solve the puzzle when you locate it.

Adjust Each Statue to Face the Right Direction
As you explore the garden of the Dellamorte Estates, you will see several statues. Focus on the three statues equipped with levers on their bases, which you can manipulate to change their facing direction. To solve the puzzle, it’s crucial to realign each movable statue, and you’ll need Lucanis’ ability to determine the correct direction for each one.
You’ll find small purple rifts labeled Veil Instability scattered throughout the garden, which Lucanis can expose. Point your camera towards these rifts and press R1 to activate Lucanis’ companion skill, Spite’s Reach, to unveil what is hidden within those spots. Interact with each Veil Instability close to a statue to reveal a mirrored version of that statue, pointing in a specific direction.
When you press R1 near a Veil Instability, a wheel of various companion abilities will appear. A common mistake in Dragon Age: The Veilguard is selecting the incorrect skill for the situation, so take care to navigate this wheel carefully to ensure you use Spite’s Reach appropriately.
Adjust each statue to face the same direction as the entities revealed by Spite’s Reach. You’ll find four statues in total within the garden, so be sure to check them all to position them correctly. After aligning the statues, utilize the other Veil Instabilities to access three levers located in the central area, which will unlock a large gate once all have been triggered.
If all the statues are correctly oriented and each lever has been activated, the gate will open, effectively solving the puzzle and revealing valuable rewards. By deciphering the puzzle in the Dellamorte Estates, your character will obtain:
