Vampire Crawlers challenges you to plan and assemble a deck of cards focused on the types of encounters you’re likely to face in its first-person dungeon adventures. But winning isn’t just about your cards; you also need to pick a character, called a Crawler in the game, that matches your playstyle. Each character offers their own special advantages, which they bring into every run. You can have up to three characters active at the same time, giving you many ways to improve your chances of winning.

Antonio Belpaese
- Gains 3 Armor when played.
- 10% more damage when a red card is used.
- Unlocked automatically.
Arca Ladonna
- Adds 3 Mana when played.
- Adds 1 Mana when a purple card is used.
- Unlock by playing 100 Fire Wand cards.
Bianca Ramba
- Adds 3 to the Amount stat when played.
- Adds 1 to the Amount with a purple card.
- Unlock by defeating the Milk Elemental in the Dairy Plant.
Christine Davian
- Reduces the Mana cost of the next card by 1 when played.
- Prevents 1 enemy from attacking when a purple card is used.

- Adds 10 Area when played.
