The Fire Scorpion Charm is a unique talisman in Elden Ring that boosts your Fire Damage by 12%, while also increasing the damage you take from physical attacks by 10%. With its striking twin scorpion design, this charm is a perfect fit for players who favor fire-centric weapons and sorceries.
Choosing the right talisman can significantly enhance your character build and prove to be essential during PvP encounters. In this guide, we will show you how to find the Fire Scorpion Charm in the blistering heights of Mt. Gelmir and help you decide whether it’s worth the effort to obtain it.
Where to Find the Fire Scorpion Charm

The Fire Scorpion Charm can be found by locating a spirit on the rooftop of Fort Laiedd, situated in the western region of Mt. Gelmir. You’ll hear the spirit’s cries once you reach the rooftops. This area is designed for late-game adventurers and can only be accessed after you’ve made your way to the Altus Plateau.
Alternatively, players can reach Mt. Gelmir early in the game by being captured by a Virgin Abductor found at the bottom of the Raya Lucaria Academy. From the enormous lift in the library, head downward until you hit the bottom, where the Virgin Abductor will grab you.
This method will transport you directly to Mt. Gelmir, but keep in mind that you must defeat two bosses before progressing further.
Once you’re on Mt. Gelmir, guide yourself westward until you arrive at Fort Laiedd, which is guarded by the Fire Prelate. Defeating this boss will reward you with the Prelate’s Inferno Crozier Hammer.

To obtain the charm, open the door at the end of the courtyard to access the stairs leading to the rooftop. Continue northwest until you hear the spirit lamenting. The spirit is located just beyond a broken section of the wall, which you can leap over. The Fire Scorpion Charm awaits you near the spirit.
Utilizing the Fire Scorpion Charm in Elden Ring

The Fire Scorpion Charm is ideal for use with fire-based weapons and spells, regardless of whether they fall under the black flame category.
One of our recommended weapons to pair with this talisman is the Blasphemous Blade, although we advise against using it with the Rivers of Blood Katana.
In PvP, the charm increases your fire damage by 8% but also raises the physical damage you receive by 15%. Although it’s a solid choice for a Blasphemous Blade build, we suggest using a strong shield to mitigate physical damage as much as possible.
For an extra boost, consider using the Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear, which enhances Fire Attack Power by 20% (12.5% in PvP). This bonus stacks with the Blasphemous Blade, giving a total increase of 30% fire damage against your foes.
