In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ll find an array of beloved Sanrio characters always ready to befriend you. Characters like Hello Kitty and Aggretsuko can be interacted with daily, and you can even give them gifts. As you progress, you’ll have the opportunity to renovate cabins, attracting visitors who are eager to relax and enjoy your island.
In this guide, we’ll explore everything related to visitors in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. You’ll learn how to start welcoming guests and discover all the visitor options available in the game. Plus, each visitor has unique small quests for you to tackle, which we’ll discuss as well.
How To Unlock Visitors
At first, your island won’t welcome any visitors. You’ll need to complete the quest called Friends and Family to unlock this feature. Below are the steps required to initiate the quest:
- Finish the Building Bridges quest.
- Complete the Make Yourself At Home quest and wait one in-game day.
Once you’ve completed both tasks, you can start Friends and Family, which serves as a tutorial quest to guide you on how to repair and decorate new cabins for upcoming visitors. During this quest, you’ll prep for Dear Daniel, who has a quirky request for pie to be placed on the ground.
By finishing the tasks given by My Melody, you’ll be ready to welcome island visitors and restore various cabins found on the map.
All Island Visitors In Hello Kitty Island Adventure
Now, let’s review all the potential visitors you can encounter in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Each entry includes their names, daily gifts, liked tags, visiting times, island friends, and any additional prerequisites. We’ll explain what each category entails shortly.
Before these characters can visit, you’ll need to form a friendship with their respective friend on the island. For instance, if you want Mimmy to visit, you need to befriend Hello Kitty first.
What Is A Daily Gift?
Upon your first interaction with a visitor each day, you’ll receive a daily gift from them. No tasks or requests need to be completed; simply speak to them to claim your free item!
Where Can Guests Stay?
Cabins are scattered throughout your island, with each zone containing cabins that cater to specific visitors. After restoring these cabins, you can prepare for specific sets of guests as shown below.
Any visitors not listed in this table can stay in any available cabin.
Where To View All Potential Visitors
You don’t have to remember each visiting character; just click on ‘Visitors’ from the game menu to see all potential guests that can come to your island. This menu will display only those who you have unlocked, even if they aren’t currently in transit.
A circle with a line through it indicates that a guest isn’t currently traveling, while a timer icon shows that they are on their way; if you have prepared the right cabin, they will arrive. You can also see the exact date their travels conclude, ensuring you don’t miss them.
Finally, the airplane icon alerts you that a character is about to travel. For example, clicking on Pompompurin’s Mama reveals that she will arrive in one day. Use this feature to help plan and ready your cabins for upcoming guests!
Visitor Cabin Requirements
Every visitor comes with specific requirements that must be met to host them successfully. Thankfully, this information is available on the ‘Visitors’ screen. If a character requires a certain location, it will be noted there as well.
For instance, Berry is scheduled to visit next in the Fall, but currently unlocked. Berry’s cabin needs the following items:
- 5x Spooky Items
- 3x Joke Items
- 2x Sweet Items
Some guests, like Pompompurin’s parents, have more challenging prerequisites. Pompompurin’s Papa desires a cabin located near Pompompurin on Gemstone Mountain, along with these items:
- 3x Pieces of Antique Furniture
- 1x Magma Pudding
- 1x Pumpkin Pudding
- 1x Purple Pudding
Visitor Quests
In addition to checking out the sights, each visitor will present you with daily quests. These tasks are generally straightforward. For instance, Pompompurin’s Papa might ask you to take selfies in various locations, bake Milk Bread, or catch a Rockadoodler.
When guests are on your island, make sure to keep an eye out for any active daily quests. They are usually easy to accomplish and successfully completing them increases your star rating with the visitor.
