A remake of a beloved adventure game from PlayStation 3 and PS4 may be arriving sooner than many anticipated.
Ubisoft has officially announced that the Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag remake, titled Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, is scheduled for global release on July 9, 2026. It will be available on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
This remake is described as a “faithful recreation” of the original 2013 title. It boasts updated visuals, enriched gameplay, enhanced stealth and parkour mechanics, more in-depth naval features, dynamic weather effects, and Ubisoft claims new narrative content—though specifics on that are still unclear.
The standard edition will be priced at $59.99. Two additional editions will also be offered: a digital Deluxe Edition at $69.99, which includes the base game, the Master Assassin Character Pack, and the Master Assassins Naval Pack; and a Collector’s Edition at $199.99, featuring premium physical collectibles like an Edward figurine, a metal brooch, a SteelBook case, a cloth map, and more.
