An acclaimed Nintendo Switch-exclusive adventure game is finally making its way to the PS5. Developed by South Korean studio Somi and published by Playism, No Case Should Remain Unsolved initially launched on PC and Nintendo Switch, earning positive reviews from players and critics alike.
No Case Should Remain Unsolved is set to be released on the PS5 in the summer of 2026. A precise release date hasn’t been revealed yet, but a listing has appeared on the PlayStation Store, allowing fans to add the game to their wishlist.
For those who haven’t played it, the game is a detective mystery that plays out as a visual novel. Players take on the role of a detective unraveling a cold case by collecting and piecing together memory fragments.
The story revolves around a girl named Seowon who is reported missing from a playground. An investigation is launched, witnesses and suspects are questioned, but ultimately, the case remains unsolved. Twelve years after retiring, Senior Inspector Jeon Gyeong is approached by a young officer—an earnest woman seeking to reopen the case. Each new memory uncovered reveals that everyone connected to Seowon was hiding the truth.
