It’s possible to traverse the Ruin-Strewn Precipice to reach the Altus Plateau without needing to activate the Grand Lift of Dectus.
Make your way through the village to find the entrance to the Ruin-Strewn Precipice. Continue straight ahead, climbing three sets of stairs along the way, while battling numerous bats you encounter.
After reaching the third ladder, turn around and head right to locate the fourth flight of stairs. Ascend these to arrive at a higher platform where you’ll find a formidable Land Octopus enemy.
