To acquire the Meteorite of Astel, you must successfully defeat Astel, Star of Darkness, located within the Yelough Anix Tunnel.
You can locate this tunnel in the southwestern region of the Consecrated Snowfield. Before you can access the area, you’ll need to obtain both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.
- To get the right half of the Haligtree Secret Medallion, find Old Albus, who is concealed within a giant jar in the Village of Albinaurics. You’ll need to break the jar and speak with him to receive this portion of the medallion.
- Continue with the main storyline until you reach the Mountaintop of the Giants. After defeating Commander O’Neil at the summit of Castle Sol, you will obtain the left half of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.
Once you have both medallion pieces, head to the Grand Lift of Rold. Use the D-pad to switch between the medallions, and then activate the Secret Medallion to gain entry to the Consecrated Snowfield.
