In Cash Cleaner Simulator, there are several factors to consider if you want to gather the one million dollars needed for your freedom. One key aspect is making sure you provide clients with the correct kind of cash in the containers they’ve requested, alongside other critical details.

Each client has their own preferences, but most will be displeased if you accidentally send marked bills along with their cleaned cash. Failing to watch for these marked bills can lead to a lower reward, making it harder to reach your goal of freedom.

Cash Cleaner Simulator is currently in Early Access on Steam, so details in this article may change in the future.

What Are Marked Bills?

In addition to separating real bills from counterfeits, you’ll also need to determine if the bills are marked.

Real bills exhibit glow-in-the-dark features under UV light, which help you identify the authenticity of the bill by revealing bright blue details on the official stamp, tracking stamps, and denomination.

Marked bills can be classified into three main types: Police-Marked, Gang-Marked, and FDI-Marked, each featuring its unique symbols.

  • Police-Marked: Features a large red X covering a significant portion of the bill.
  • Gang-Marked: Displays either a black square or a smaller, thicker red X.
  • FDI-Marked: Shows a red eye on the right side of the bill.

These markings are usually invisible, and the only way to reveal them is by using a UV lamp in a dark environment, which causes the markings to glow either red or black.

How To Identify Marked Bills

Marked Bills are one of the many challenges you’ll encounter, starting to appear once you acquire a UV Lamp during the main quest called The Light Test, which focuses on checking for counterfeit bills.

To proceed, gather the cash you need to inspect and place it in a pile or box near your workbench, which becomes available after completing the quest, Light It Up.

While you can sort bills however you prefer, organizing them into groups of 15 to 25 will simplify the task and help prevent a messy pile-up.

Next, take a few bills and lay them on the table or workbench. If you’re using the table, remember to spread them out manually. With the workbench, the bills will automatically fan out when placed inside.

Once that’s set up, be sure to wait until nighttime before using your Portable UV Lamp or activating the Ultraviolet Inspection Lamp purchased from the Black Market App, which will automatically attach inside the workbench.

If you’d like to speed up time until it gets dark for easier bill checking, simply sit down on the black cushion in your base.

Once activated, the UV lamp will illuminate any markings on the bills within its range, allowing you to determine whether a bill is marked, real, or a counterfeit, as counterfeit bills won’t display the blue glow of legitimate stamps.
