Learning observation skills is one of the fastest and simplest ways to improve your abilities in Crimson Desert. However, some skills are easy to overlook if you’re too busy rushing toward your main goal. One such skill is Focused Force Palm, which is crucial for exploring and is very useful in combat.
If you don’t follow a specific path while traveling through Hernand to the Scholastone Institute, you might completely miss the opportunity to learn this skill. But even if that happens, we’ll show you how to come back and learn Focused Force Palm whenever you want in Crimson Desert.
### Where to Find Focused Force Palm
The best way to learn this skill is by progressing through the story to chapter 4. During this part of the game, you’ll be in an area west of the Steel Mountains. Luckily, you can return to this spot any time if you missed it earlier.
You will find the learning spot about 350 meters south of the Scholastone Institute, in the western part of the Steel Mountains, just southwest of the Witchwoods. While traveling to Scholastone during the story, you might pass over these hills, but if you rush, you could miss the observation point.
### How to Learn Focused Force Palm
To learn this skill, head toward the hills northeast of the crossing, where you’ll notice a strangely colored wall. Approach the wall, and you’ll see a prompt to observe the method of learning Focused Force Palm. Keep in mind, this move can’t be used to break certain objects.
Once you reach the wall, you need to be in Focus mode. You activate Focus mode by pressing RS+LS or R3+L3. While in Focus mode, hold down RS/R3 to charge the Force Palm. When fully charged, release the buttons to perform the move. Be careful when doing this because approaching the wall too closely will cause you to get crystallized and lose health. Carefully approaching without getting too close is key, and then you can use the Focused Force Palm to bash through the wall.
You can repeat this process on a second wall behind the first to open a passage through the hills, allowing you to explore more of the area.
