There’s a lot of loot to gather on Starsand Island, but as a solo player, your carrying capacity is limited. What do you do when your bag is full and you can’t carry any more treasures? No worries—we’re here to help!
Instead of leaving valuable items on the ground and risking them despawning, here’s how you can boost your inventory space and make the most of the storage options available in Starsand Island. Keep reading to learn how to upgrade your backpack so you never lose loot again.
### How to Upgrade Your Backpack
At the start, your inventory is pretty small. You’ll find only two rows of space, which means you’ll often have to make trips home to unload items before collecting more.
Luckily, you can increase your inventory capacity. To do this, open your bag and tap the “Expand” button at the bottom left. This will bring up a menu showing the materials needed to add more slots to your bag.
### All Inventory Upgrades
Here’s a list of all the materials you’ll need for each upgrade, so you can plan ahead:

### How to Make a Realm Box
Once you earn the Intermediate Crafter certification, you can buy the Realm Box Blueprint from the General Store. This special chest links with others of its kind and can be used directly in your inventory.
To craft it at Workbench II, gather these materials:
– Alloy (5)
– Spirit Cube I (3)
– Starflare Core (5)
– Hardwood Plank (6)
While it doesn’t permanently boost your total inventory size, the Realm Box is a crucial tool during your adventures through the Moonlit Forest. Store food, materials, and ammo in it to reduce trips back home. You can also place and access the Realm Box on your home plots, making materials available without carrying them around. This becomes especially useful late in the game when you have multiple properties across the island.
