The rider is fast, but you don’t need to keep up with its speed. Keep following it along the road it takes, and eventually, it will lead you into a fiery tunnel that guides you to the battlefield against the Headless Rider. Defeat the rider and contain it to finish the commission and earn the arc.
Tips to Defeat the Headless Rider
The battle against the Headless Rider is fairly straightforward. Here are some tips to help you succeed:
- The rider moves around a lot, but instead of trying to follow every move, wait at your spot and let the rider come to you with its attacks. Dodge these attacks and strike back before it leaves.
- Keep an eye on the enemy and watch for its attack cues. Some attacks need to be dodged, while others can be parried.
- The rider can create pools of fire on the ground that explode after a few seconds. Avoid standing in these areas to prevent being knocked up and taking damage.
- Some attacks have a delay, meaning they hit about a second after the red glow appears. Be prepared to dodge with this timing in mind.
- Characters like Jiuyuan are effective during this fight thanks to their long-range skills. Daffodill can also help by quickly removing its break bar.
