At the end of each dungeon level in Vampire Crawlers, you’ll encounter a boss. These bosses include both the regular and special ones, each with unique stats, attacks, and effects. Besides these, the game also has secret and optional bosses for players who want additional challenges.
One of the early secret bosses you might come across is Nesufritto. Defeating him earns you an achievement and a special Gem. Nesufritto doesn’t possess many unique abilities, but his damage output can be challenging for beginners. Here’s how to locate and defeat Nesufritto in Vampire Crawlers.
How to Find Nesufritto
Nesufritto is located in the Inlaid Library on its fourth floor. You unlock this area after completing Mad Forest once. To find him, look for a red female ghost hiding in a corner within the library. Interact with her to trigger the fight.
How to Defeat Nesufritto
When the fight begins, a group of ghostly figures will appear. These ghosts each deal one damage, totaling five damage, which you can generally withstand if you have enough armor or high health. Be aware that defeating each ghost will deal you one damage, and there are quite a few of them.
It’s a good idea to enter this fight with as much health as possible or have some armor cards ready. Using Wild Cards to create combos can help, but it’s better to save these for later phases.
After defeating the ghosts, Nesufritto himself will appear. He’s not particularly special but can be dangerous if you’re new to the game and lack upgrades or proper strategy. Nesufritto alternates between two actions: dealing 14 damage or gaining 200 armor. To win, make sure you have basic armor cards, high health, and the ability to make simple combos like 0-1-2 sequences.
The fight is manageable even early in the game. For example, a player with only a few hours of experience managed to win, using a deck with powerful 3-cost cards like Thousand Edge and Peachone, along with a 2-cost Holy Wand and Golden Armor.
Rewards for Defeating Nesufritto
Victory in this battle grants you the Nduja Gem. This special Gem adds spicy damage—extra damage—to any card it’s attached to, making your attacks more powerful.
