Crimson Desert offers a variety of optional activities besides the main story, such as gambling in Duo games and solving hidden puzzles to find Abyss Artifacts. One of these activities is bounty hunting, where you track down and capture criminals across the world and bring them back to the Constabulary. Some bounties, like the one involving Ulzok in the “Plenty of Bounty” quest, can be quite challenging, especially when trying to avoid fighting off large groups of guards at the House of Healing.
Plenty of Bounty Walkthrough
To start this quest, you must first complete the “Face on the Bounty Notice” quest by talking to Yann at Greymane Camp. Keep in mind, you’ll need to finish several other quests before this one becomes available. The initial bounty notice explains how bounty hunting works and involves riding horses while talking with Yann.
Once finished, you’ll receive the “Plenty of Bounty” quest, which sends you to the House of Healing in St. Halssius to find a fugitive named Ulzok. Attaining him isn’t straightforward because the House of Healing doesn’t look kindly on outsiders. Guards patrol the area and will attack you if you’re not careful, making it tough to capture Ulzok alive.
Getting Inside Without Trouble
The best way to succeed is to disguise yourself as a member of the House of Healing. You can get this disguise either by purchasing it during the “Familiar Faces” quest from Chapter 2 or by defeating some guards to loot the necessary disguise items. The disguise includes:
- St. Halssius Priest’s Hat
- St. Halssius Priest’s Attire
- St. Halssius Priest’s Cloak
- St. Halssius Priest’s Leather Footwear
You must equip all of these to sneak past the guards successfully. Even with the disguise, walking through the front gate isn’t possible without a pass, so you’ll need to climb over the stone walls on either side of the compound.
Approaching Ulzok
Inside the House of Healing, locate the crossroads shown in the picture above (near the main gate, follow the road until it splits, then go up the hill). Ulzok usually roams the courtyard at the top of that hill. Keep an eye on your mini-map for a wanted poster indicating he’s close. He appears as a green orc wearing robes and sporting an eye patch. Despite seeing you, he’s unlikely to fight, choosing instead to run.
Capturing Ulzok
If Ulzok doesn’t appear, try fast-traveling to another Abyss Gate and returning to reset the location. When he starts running, chase him down and tackle him to the ground. Once he’s down, strike him a few times until he gives up, then tie him up. Because you’re in disguise, guards won’t interfere if you beat him in front of them.
Completing the Bounty
With Ulzok secured, lead him out of the House of Healing, place him on your horse, and ride to the Constabulary, marked on your map. Hand him over to the guards to complete the quest and earn some Silver for your efforts.
