Guide to Locations of Dragon Hearts in Elden Ring

[keyword]

In Elden Ring, one of the rarest and most sought-after items is the Dragon Heart, which allows you to wield the powers of a melee dragon. These items aren’t bought or looted but earned by slaying dragons throughout the game. There are over 23 Dragon Hearts available, but only 20 are required to unlock every Dragon Communion Spell.

To collect Dragon Hearts, you must locate and defeat specific dragon bosses. Each slain dragon drops one Dragon Heart, and there are 19 locations where you can gather them.

Head south from the Limgrave Tunnel Site of Grace and travel east of the Church of Elleh to find the Flying Dragon Agheel. This is the first and easiest dragon you’ll come across. Be prepared for a tough fight—level 25 or higher is recommended.

Caelid

In the Caelid region, the second dragon is located between the Cathedral of Dragon Communion Site of Grace and the Caelid Highway South. Continue southeast from Gael Tunnel to find Magma Wyrm near the borders of Caelid and Limgrave.

In another part of Caelid, travel to the Sellia Hideaway Site of Grace and head northwest to encounter Elder Dragon Greyol, which grants you five Dragon Hearts. You can also find Flying Dragon Greyll on the Farum Greatbridge in Caelid.
