A highly anticipated Capcom action-adventure game for PS5 has announced a new release date—and it’s actually good news. While it’s still set for April 2026, Pragmata will now arrive a full week earlier than planned. This change won’t impact current PS Store preorders.
Pragmata will launch on Friday, April 17. Unlike the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, preorders for Nintendo Switch 2 will be automatically canceled, with Capcom recommending players to re-preorder if interested.
Both physical and digital copies of Pragmata will include exclusive “early bird” in-game bonuses, which might later become available for purchase separately. These extras include Hugh’s “Neo Bushido” outfit and Diana’s “Neo Kunoichi” outfit.
Physical edition bonuses will be available while supplies last. Digital preorders need to be placed by 11:59 p.m. local time on April 23 to secure the preorder rewards.

Pragmata is described as “a brand-new sci-fi action adventure with a unique hacking twist.” Capcom explains that it’s set in the near future, where protagonists Hugh and his android companion Diana must band together to navigate their way through a cold lunar research station.
