Just like the mysterious writings found in the Vatican, the Giza area in Indiana Jones And The Great Circle features ten Stelae to uncover, each with puzzling hints about the enigmatic Nephilim Order. Nawal requires four of these to securely transport to the Cairo Museum, but if you’re up for a challenge (and why wouldn’t you be?), you can seek out all ten to safeguard them from the Third Reich.
Numerous side quests, shut doors, and concealed rooms will come between you and these intricately carved relics. But don’t worry; this guide will help you track them all down.
Quest Stelae
You can earn three Stelae by completing certain quests. Check out our guides for detailed assistance on those missions listed below:
The Protector Stele can be collected through the main storyline. The other two can be found during optional missions, though they’re highly recommended. You cannot start “A Savage Predicament” until you have infiltrated and escaped the Nazi Compound.
Vehicle Depot Stelae
The Vehicle Depot is the restricted area nearest the center of the map, located to the west of the Recreation Area. Approach from the north to enter a large tent without needing to go through the fence or a checkpoint.
Harvest Stele
Inside the tent, inspect the back of the large truck in the center to find a chest with a combination lock. The table to the left of the truck contains a note with the combination: 0805. Opening the chest will let you take the Harvest Stele that’s inside.
The table with the note, along with another one next to the truck, each have cash boxes that can be broken open with a hammer, wrench, or other tools, containing 100 Reichsmarks each.
Sebek Stele
Exit the tent from the north, just as you came in, and head directly east. You will arrive at a sealed tomb entrance. Take one of the sledgehammers lying outside and break down the wall to uncover the tunnel beyond.
At the end of the tunnel, use your lighter to set fire to the straw barrier blocking the door, then use your whip to lower yourself near the pit of spikes. From there, you can see a hidden platform just below where you entered; swing over to it and pull the lever on the wall to open the gate above.
Climb back up the whip and swing towards the open gate; the Sebek Stele is located to the left in the next room.
Sphinx Temple Ruins Stelae
The ruins east of the Great Sphinx—right between the Workers’ Area and the Village—hide two Stelae that require the Lighter for retrieval.
Death Stele
The southern section of the ruins consists of multiple square rooms with several guards nearby. Navigate to the back, where you’ll find a staircase leading to a dead-end. Look for some straw near the wall on the left; burning it with your lighter will reveal a narrow passage to crawl through.
On the other side, you will encounter a difficult swinging challenge. You need to swing across the gap and quickly latch your whip onto the rafter ahead to avoid falling. This will take you to the far side where the Death Stele is waiting for you.
Just a heads up: you’ll need to perform the swinging maneuver again to return to the entrance.
Giant Stele
From the lower ruins, head northeast until you spot a lone guard seated nearby. You can bypass him or choose to knock him out. Behind him, a shaft provides access that you can descend using your whip.
Look for some pillars around the shaft to help guide you through the sand and ruins.
In the chamber at the bottom, locate another bundle of straw to burn, which will allow you to crawl through a tunnel. The Giant Stele is easily accessible on the other side.
Khafre Excavation Stelae
You can find two Stelae at the Khafre Excavation Site situated on the west side of the map along with the connected Mortuary Temple Ruins.
Ra Stele
Put on your disguise and head to the Khafre Excavation Site. There are many tunnels here to investigate; you’ll want the large sandstone entrance located west of the main tent.
Once inside, use the sledgehammer propped against the wall to smash the loose stones on your right. In the room beyond, light the oil lamp on your right and ignite the straw on your left using your Lighter.
Squeeze through the tunnel that was blocked by the straw and pull the chain at the end of the passage to unlock the gate by the lamp. Go back through the tunnel and go past to find a double-rafter swing challenge. Again, you’ll need to whip the second rafter while in mid-air to avoid falling.
This pit requires a sideways swing before you can jump straight across; eat fruit to restore your stamina so you can take your time adjusting for the jump.
Once you are across, you can go up the stairs to unlock a door back to the surface, but there’s still a Stele to gather. Step out onto the narrow ledge on the right of where you landed. With a running leap, you can jump across the gap to the open door on the other side. The Ra Stele lies in the sunlit room ahead.
Victory Stele
Make your way to the Mortuary Temple Ruins at the southeastern part of the Khafre excavation site. You will encounter an unguarded tomb marked with warning signs in German. If you can’t read German, the warning signs will be made clear once you step inside; the tomb is crawling with scorpions.
Grab a torch from the basket just inside the entrance and light it. Use the flame to fend off the scorpions until you can clear a path to the straw barrier in the back of the room. Burn it down and crawl through the passage.
Amon Stele
The final Stele is in the possession of Voss, locked away in a room beneath his office. To obtain it, you will need the Wehrmacht Key, which can only be acquired after you’ve infiltrated the Nazi compound once. This means you will have to return for the Amon Stele since you won’t have the key on your first visit.
How To Get The Wehrmacht Key
The Wehrmacht Key is located in a guard tower at the checkpoint east of the compound, where you emerge after escaping the collapsed tunnels. Access it by climbing the back of the tower with your whip and entering through the open window at the front. Inside, you’ll find only one guard, and you’ll obtain the key when you pick up the Wehrmacht Uniform on the first floor.
Where Is The Amon Stele?
Return to Voss’s Office in the Nazi Compound’s tower. Having the Wehrmacht Uniform will make this much simpler. You can enter through the main gate to the west or unlock the gate near the washing area at the eastern checkpoint to enter near the Detention Center.
The storeroom is on the first floor, at the back. Once you use the Wehrmacht Key to unlock it, the Stele will be on a shelf to your left. Make sure to grab the Medicine Bottle and other items in the room before you depart.
If you’re in a rush, there’s an available window in the storeroom for a quick escape. It’s a bit of a jump, but not too far that you would take damage if you drop onto the scaffolding below first.
Once you have collected all ten Stelae, place them in the box next to the delivery truck outside Nawal’s tent. Her agent will reward you with an Ancient Relic.
